FOUNDER

After high school, Darrell went to electrical school and joined the Oregon National Guard. From there he went to work for Boeing Corporation working on the Minute Man missile program and performing the electrical work in the silos. After graduating from Linfield College, he began his insurance career in 1967 as an underwriter for Oregon Mutual. He holds both a CPCU and CIC designation. He is our resident subject matter expert. Darrell has always been active in volunteering his time in the local community and fundraising for worthy causes. In his spare time, he loves to fly fish.

OWNER & LEAD AGENT

Brad joined the family business in 2001 after over a decade as a Plant Manager for a large corporation. Between this experience in running a multimillion-dollar facility employing 110 people and growing up working on a farm, he is familiar with what it takes to manage the risks involved in running a business. He is a graduate of the University of Oregon. Brad enjoys spending time with his family and has way too many hobbies including Jiu-Jitsu, motorcycles, water and snow skiing, surfing, mountain biking, SCUBA, and flying, holding a license in both fixed-wing and rotorcraft.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

Arzel graduated from the University of Oregon in 2020, where she double majored in psychology and sociology. During undergrad she worked as a campus assistant for student housing and spent her free time at the Knight library. During the pandemic, she moved back home to Woodburn and began working remotely as a business and employment specialist for the Oregon Employment Department. However, Arzel is not a homebody and was ready to go back to an in-person job. She joined Mendenhall Insurance Agency in March of 2022 and is currently working on obtaining an Oregon insurance agent license.

Arzel loves to travel anywhere tropical, and enjoys attending concerts and festivals. On her typical days-off you can catch her and her chihuahua Daisy charging up at Starbucks or Dutch Bros before going shopping or on a very short walk. Her hobbies and interest include fashion, cycling, Bad Bunny, trying new foods and reading.
